Description
The Reece Street Pro Pinewood Derby Wheels are machined from official BSA wheels for the ultimate performance.
This is the fastest wheel we offer! Winner of the 2023 Liverpool PA. pro race! This is a flat sided wheel- the lettering on the outside of the wheel has been removed!
If you are looking for the fastest wheel possible with all the lettering on the inside of the wheel still intact then look no further. These wheels weigh in at 1.3-1.4 grams a piece. With our stepped inner cuts you will not find a lighter wheel while retaining wheel stiffness as to not effect the wheel performance. Usage:
The Reece Street Pro Pinewood Derby wheels can be used without any additional preparation, but for the best performance please follow these steps.
It is important to prepare the wheels for the proper lubrication. Each wheel bore should be polished resulting in a slippery smooth surface. As an example, do not use graphite to polish if you are going to use oil as your lubrication.
The hub (inside and out) along with the inner edge of the wheels should be polished to a slippery smooth finish
If you are not sure how to prepare a set of wheels consider having us prepare your wheels with the Reece Racing Prep Process for an additional $40
These wheels are legal for:
APR Street Pro Class
Please check your scout rules. The lettering on the outside of the wheel has been removed.
