About Us
This journey started for us years ago when my wife approached me asking if I could help our son Reece build a pinewood derby car for his local cub scout race. I remember thinking at that moment- I don’t have time to build a stupid little wooden car- my job was very demanding in those days. But I didn’t want to let Reece down so our research began! Reece and I spent hours each evening on YouTube just trying to understand what makes a fast pinewood derby car. Our goal was simple- we didn’t want to finish in last place LOL
At any rate, after winning the pack race and then winning the District Race we were hooked! We wanted to continue racing and didn’t want to wait until the following year. We looked all over the internet until we found two adult leagues that raced almost every month. The NPWDRL in St. George Utah and APR in Cambridge Ohio. Both are great leagues run by great people.
We feel fortunate to have won races and set track records across this country from California to Pennsylvania!
